MPPSC is a Constitutional body created to select the applicants for civil service job in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It conducted examination for selection to various posts as per the requirements.

Full form of MPPSC Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. It is a competitive exam organised by the state government of Madhya Pradesh. It is held for filling the vacant posts of class 2 and class 3 officers in Madhya Pradesh Government.

For how many times in a year exam held?

This exam held annually (Once in a year). Exam is organised in three steps, which are prelims, mains and interviews.

What is eligibility criterion for MPPSC Exam?

To apply in the MPPSC, you must have to fulfill following important criterion to take part in this exam:

1. Nationality : The candidate must be citizen of India.

2. Age limit for MPPSC Exam : Candidate should be between 21 years to 35 years. However candidates can seek age relaxation provided by the government.

1. Maximum age limit for the Open/General category is 35 years.
2. Maximum age limit for the OBC category is 38 years.
3. Maximum age limit for the SC/ST category is 40 years.
4. Maximum age limit for the physically handicapped candidates is 45 years.

3. MPPSC Exam Educational Qualification : A candidate must complete graduation/bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university of the state or other state.

Physical Eligibility : For the posts like Deputy Superintendent of Police , District Excise Officer, Superintendent, District Jail, Assistant Jailer, Transport Sub-Inspector etc. needs some physical standards. It includes height and chest expansion etc.

MPPSC Exam Number of Attempts :

For General/Open category : 5 attempts.
For OBC category : 7 attempts.
For SC/ST category : Unlimited attempts up to the age limit.

MPPSC Exam Pattern :

It has 3 steps. Prelims, mains and interview.

1. MPPSC Prelims Exam : There are two papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

  • Paper 1 : General Studies.
