1. National Defense Academy and Naval academy exam Exam (NDA & NA Exam):

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC for the selection of candidates in three defense services of our nation.  The candidates who pass this examination undergo 3 years of training at the National Defense Academy, Pune. The candidates, which are selected for Naval Academy, undergo 3 years of training in the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala. After successful completion of training by candidates, they become part of the prestigious Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian navy

Eligibility for NDA & NA exam.

Educational Qualification:

  • 12th passed in any stream for Army.
  • 12th passed in science stream with physics and maths for Air Force and Navy.

Age:

Minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19.5 years

The candidates after successfully passing the written NDA & NA exam have to face the SSB interview followed by a Fitness test and a Medical test. If the candidate clears all these tests successfully only then he is trained in the respective academy of defense forces.

2. Join the Indian army after 12th

Technical Entry Scheme (TES):

Technical Entry Scheme is one of the Entry Schemes to join the army for unmarried males who have passed the HSC exam in the PCM group. The candidates are shortlisted according to their marks in the TES exam and the cut off decided by regulating authority. The shortlisted candidates are called for SSB interviews and fitness and medical test. If the candidate is successful in all these tests then he undergoes 5-year training after completion of training he is granted a permanent commission in the Indian army as a lieutenant

Minimum 16.5 years and Maximum 19.5 years

  • Junior commissioned officer(Catering):

you can serve the Indian army with pride as JCO(Catering) if you fulfill the following criteria

Eligibility for JCO(catering)

Educational Qualification:

HSC passed with a diploma or certificate in Cookery/Hotel Management and Catering Tech from the approved institute by AICTE.

Age: 21-27 years

The candidate should be physically and medically fit.

The candidate will also have to appear for Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Its detail is given below.

  • Paper 1:( 60 Minutes)subjects- IQ, GK, and Numerical Ability. The passing marks are 32 out of 100.
  • Paper 2:( 30 Minutes) Subjects-math, English, and Computer Science passing marks are 20 out of 150.

3. Indian Air Force:

You can join the Indian air force after passing your HSC exam as Airman. Airman is responsible for the maintenance of aircraft and other technical assets of the air force.

The trades of the air force are categories into two groups “Group X” and “Group Y”

When you apply for an Airmen post, you have to give a written exam and appear for physical and medical tests according to your educational qualification and your performance in written, physical and medical tests you are allotted particular trade either “x trade” or “y trade”. After completing the enrollment procedure the candidates are sent for training in different training institutes of the Indian air force

Educational Qualification for X-Trade

  1. HSC passed with PCM group and at least 50% marks in aggregate in PCM group and at least 50% marks in English or passed 3-year diploma in engineering in any stream with at least 50%  aggregate marks and at least 50% marks in English.

Age: Minimum 17years to Maximum 21 years

Educational Qualification for Y-Trade

  1. HSC passed with the PCM group and at least 50% marks in  aggregate in the PCM group and at least 50% marks in English

Age: Minimum 17years to Maximum 21 years

4. Indian Navy:

  • Sailor-Senior Secondary Recruit

You can join the Indian Navy as a sailor through the Senior Secondary Recruits Entry scheme after completing your 10+2 exam. As a sailor, you will work in the sea on different warships of the Indian navy. You will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of different highly technical and sophisticated instruments on warships and submarines.

Educational Qualification for Sailor-Senior Secondary Recruit

  1. Must have passed HSC with math, physics, and at least one of these subjects Chemistry /Biology/Computer Science from a recognized Board.

Age- Minimum 17 to Maximum 20 years.

  • 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme

Under the 10+2 B.Tech Entry Scheme, candidates are selected based on all India Rank in JEE (Main). The selected candidates are called for SSB interviews. Those candidates who clear SSB interviews and medical tests are selected for a 4-year B.Tech course at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. The Educational Qualification required for this Entry Scheme is given below.

Educational Qualification:-

  • HSC passed with the PCM group and at least 70% marks in aggregate in the PCM group and at least 50% marks in English.
  • The candidate must pose a valid JEE main score.

Age:- 17 to 19.5 years

5. Police Bharti:

You can serve as Police Constable in Police Department after passing the HSC exam. For that, you have to apply for Police Bharti Exam. The Educational Qualification and Age limit is given below.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution.

Age limit

  • Minimum Age: 19 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

For Backward Class candidates- Between 19 to 33 years

7. Indian Coastguard:

You can join Indian Coastguard after passing your HSC exam. The educational qualification and Age limit required for the selection process are given below.

8. Railway Recruitment Board exams:

If you have a dream to work with Asia’s largest railway network then you do not have to wait for it too much. You can serve in Indian railways just after passing your HSC exam. There are two RRB exams namely RRB NTPC and RRB Group D that you are eligible to give after passing the 10+2 Exam.

RRB NTPC

You can apply for Only Non-Technical posts in the RRB NTPC exam on the basis of passing your 10+2 exam.

Educational Qualification for NTPC:

passed 10+2 exam from recognized board.

Age: 18 to 30 for open (Age relaxation is given to the backward class as per government rule.)

RRB Group D

RRB Group D exam is conducted to fill the 4th class post in Railway Department.

9. Intelligence Bureau:

You can serve in the intelligence bureau as a security assistant after passing your HSC exam. In fact, the eligibility for a security assistant post in IB is matriculation only.

Educational Qualification of Security assistant Exam: 10th passed and knowledge of the local language.

Age: Not exceeding 27 years.
